awww....its touching how the people of rural Garhwal continue to naively believe in their 'values' and 'traditions'. This particular song and others of its ilk are what may be termed 'the dying gasp' of traditional,rural Garhwal. Their ways have been challenged by increasing modernization and urbanization. The migration of youth to the plains,where lucrative opportunities await them, has done much violence to the idea of 'Garhwal'. But,the rural folk stand by their values defiantly.

brilliant...So ...
brilliant...So funny lyrics, and yet so true portrayal of the faddish attitude of our to urban culture. All Negi ji's songs have this themes....way to go Negi ji.
Performance in the songs are also appreciating...especially Pannu Gussain, his acting skills are refining day by day...keep delivering such stuff!
Besides Negi ji, the female lead singers in the song are too good ..Meena Rana has always been melodic, but the new singer Jyoti Nagpal is quite a sensational.
